Conditions We Address

Dr. Jones provides medication management for a range of mental health conditions, including:

  • Major Depressive Disorder
  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder
  • Panic Disorder
  • Social Anxiety Disorder
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Other mood and anxiety disorders

What to Expect: The Psychiatric Evaluation

All medication management begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation with Dr. Jones. This thorough initial assessment is the foundation for developing an effective, personalized treatment plan.

During Your Initial Psychiatric Evaluation:

  • Detailed History: Dr. Jones will review your psychiatric history, medical history, and current symptoms in depth
  • Previous Treatments: Discussion of medications and therapies you've tried, what worked, and what didn't
  • Current Medications: Review of all medications, supplements, and substances you're currently taking
  • Symptom Assessment: Comprehensive evaluation of how your symptoms affect your daily life, work, and relationships
  • Treatment Goals: Collaborative discussion of what you hope to achieve with treatment
  • Treatment Plan Development: Dr. Jones will recommend a personalized medication regimen and explain the rationale behind each choice

The psychiatric evaluation typically takes 30-60 minutes, allowing Dr. Jones adequate time to truly understand your needs and develop the most effective treatment approach.

Ongoing Medication Management

After Your Initial Evaluation:

If medication is prescribed, Dr. Jones will schedule regular follow-up appointments to monitor your progress. These ongoing visits are essential for:

  • Monitoring Response: Tracking how well the medication is working and whether symptoms are improving
  • Side Effect Management: Addressing any side effects quickly and adjusting medications if needed
  • Dosage Optimization: Finding the right dose that provides maximum benefit with minimal side effects
  • Medication Adjustments: Changing or adding medications if the initial approach isn't providing adequate relief
  • Coordination of Care: Working with your other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, integrated treatment

When Medications Aren't Enough: Transitioning to TMS

If you've tried multiple medications without achieving adequate relief, you may be experiencing treatment-resistant depression or another condition that could benefit from TMS. Working with Dr. Jones at Texas 360 TMS means you have immediate access to advanced TMS treatments if medication alone isn't providing sufficient improvement.

Research shows that TMS can be highly effective for individuals who haven't responded well to medications, with remission rates exceeding 30% even in treatment-resistant cases. Having both options available allows for flexible, adaptive treatment planning that can evolve with your needs.

Insurance and Payment

We accept most major insurance plans for medication management services. We're currently in-network with Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Ambetter, Baylor Scott and White, and Magellan.

For patients whose insurance we don't yet accept, we offer competitive private-pay rates. During your consultation, we'll verify your insurance benefits and provide clear information about costs for both the initial psychiatric evaluation and ongoing follow-up visits.
